Left, a woman shading her eyes looking down the road. Right, a red League Trucking Mack with a conestoga trailer.

Somebody is waiting on this freight.

A crew on a job site. A plant that runs out of material at noon. A launch schedule that does not move.

Thirty people counting on one truck.

On a conveyor build, a truck that shows up a day late costs the customer $7,500 to $10,000 in wages, with nothing to install.

The crew starts at 10:00.

They are not refreshing a tracking page. They are watching the road.

We're already loading it.

League moves time-critical freight across the U.S. and out of the Port of Tampa, on our own trucks and a carrier network we vet ourselves.

Secured by the driver who delivers it.

Chains, binders and straps, checked before the wheels turn.

Covered.

The conestoga tarp rolls shut over the deck. Weather stays out. The load stays put.

On the road. On the clock.

Tracked from pickup to delivery, and a person answers when you call.

The League truck and conestoga on the highway.

9:41. Seven minutes out.

Ahead of the crew, ahead of the clock.

Inside the conestoga at the customer's warehouse, a forklift unloading the freight.

Delivered at 9:48. Nobody stood around.

The tarp opens at the customer's dock and the load comes off. That is the whole job. Tell us what has to move and when it has to be there.

Who we are

Two companies. One standard.

ShipLeague is the parent of a freight brokerage and an asset carrier. Use one or both. Either way you deal with the same team.

So we check every carrier, on every load.

How we vet carriers

Who hauls your freight is not a guess.

Before a carrier gets a League Logistics load, we check who they really are, how safely they run, and what the rest of the industry has seen from them. If a carrier falls short of our standard, we find one that does not.

Stolen identities and fictitious pickups

We confirm the carrier is who they say they are.

Operating authority, DOT and MC numbers are verified against federal records before the load is tendered. Every phone number, address and email domain is compared with every other registration on file. A match with another carrier is the fingerprint of a chameleon or a stolen identity, and it gets a closer look before any freight moves.

Unsafe carriers

A carrier past the federal line is more likely to be put out of service at a roadside inspection, lose its insurance, or crash with your freight on the truck. When that happens your load sits, and the claim lands on you and your customer.

We read all six federal CSA safety scores, plus the crash record.

This is a real carrier from Monday's screening, name withheld. Each score ranks the carrier against similar fleets, and higher is worse. Past the line, the federal government itself flags the carrier for intervention.

Scores are percentiles from FMCSA's Safety Measurement System. The white marker on each bar is FMCSA's intervention threshold.

We also look at out-of-service rates and require enough roadside inspections for the scores to mean something.

A bad track record

We check what the industry already knows.

FreightGuard reports from other brokers and shippers, and other industry indicators of fraud and poor performance.

“Who hauled my load?”

Every load keeps a CSA snapshot of its carrier.

At booking we save the carrier's safety scores as they stood that day, sealed with a digital fingerprint and an independent timestamp so the record cannot be quietly changed later. If you ever need to know who carried your freight and why we trusted them, it is on file.
